Tuesday, July 29, 2008 wellies love.  coat: GAP (my dear sis let me wear it) tights: valleygirl wellies: pull and bear i checked the weather forecast before leaving the house this morning. it was deemed to pour today, and quite heavily too. so i wore my wellies out (quite reluctantly, because it feels heavier the longer i walk in them, and i've been wearing it almost all week cos the rain's here to stay for a while.) so anyway it did not rain. well it did, when i was at lectures. as soon as the lectures ended, the rain stopped as well. so i wore my boots out in vain! (two meanings to that word and in this context as well! guess it! haha) Posted at 11:36 PM 1 comment(s) dance in my oxfords.    top : bugis village skirt : bugis village bag : city plaza short silver necklace : topshop long white necklace : flea market oxfords : bugis village i was out with dororin that day when i got my oxfords. =) really love them! however, it's really not easy to walk in them, 4 inches high. i was hesitating whether or not to buy them, because i hardly wear heels. i wear flats 24/7 because my job requires me to be on the move constantly. plus, i really cannot afford to wear nice shoes to the nursery for they'll definitely get soiled. i wear my good ol' comfy "everlast" sneakers or my grey "cotton on" sneakers to work. pretty shoes are for the weekends! =) i love pretty shoes! leap for joy!   since i didn't take any pictures last weekend, i shall post these few photographs that hester had sent more, she'll be sending more to me tonight. ;) we were having a potluck last last saturday after nubian gents. it was really fun, i can't wait for her to send me the pictures in which we did leaps! i love my girls so much! leap for joy! do you see the ducks?         top: cotton on shorts: sister's old pair of shorts tights: valleygirl jacket: roxy shoes: cotton on i've been wanting to ride to a lake or something. so i borrowed a friend's push bike and went riding to a nearby lake. a really small one, called Jualbup Lake. it's really beautiful as the sun was setting, and the air was getting colder. it's winter here, by the way. i'm looking to riding somewhere further when my friend gaby comes back on friday. it's called Herdsman Lake and it's really huge. you could see plenty of dragonflies, beautiful birds and many swans over there. of course ducks too, they're everywhere! seeing red.    two-pieced top : city plaza shorts : cotton on stockings : junction 8 shoes : everlast bag : sewn by drey ring : topshop i was feeling more laidback today and hence the shorts and stockings. personally i'm not fond of the colour red, however, i kinda like red in bits and pieces, not a loud red tee though. =) nubian gents got me grooving and all pumped up today. they were awesome! by the way, the bag was something drey didn't quite like and so she gave it to me. she felt that it was not well sewn and that's why she gave it to me. to me, i think it's good enough. i really like the prints on the fabric. got that from a swap from usa. in case you don't know, drey terms me as the "rag-&-bone" lady, because i'll take whatever she doesn't want. ;) not sucha bad idea afterall. reuse, reduce, recycle. =) Labels: handsewn, red, sailor, shorts, two-piece Posted at 10:46 AM4 comment(s)

pine trees.    white dress: sportsgirl trenchcoat: river island black tights: valleygirl shoes: cotton on we were at fremantle today for fish and chips. the sun was setting and there were tall pine trees like the ones in the photos. so i decided it's good to take some photos! i wasn't really climbing the trees, just pretending. :D never go for fish and chips without tomato sauce!

fun at T3!      inner top : mcblue dress : far east plaza leggings : valleygirl gold pumps : topshop necklace : cotton on gold watch : bugis village mr smiley ring : far east plaza we were at the airport last night, sending off a few friends. one of them went on a holiday to bangkok with his family, while the other was off to queensland to further her studies. there were also many other singaporeans who were bound for downunder, most of which to further their studies, get into university over there. they spend a minimum of 2 years to get a degree. not that we don't have enough universities here, just that it's different when you study abroad. ask drey and she'll tell you. ;) my crazy photographer is none other than stephanie, affectionately known as stef, choco princess, or BIG stef. =) she takes great photographs, her skills have improved tremendously, all under my guidance. LOL. nah, i'm kidding. she's good! i love my photographer!
